“Welcome to Standford Industries.” I said, extending my hand to the skeptical looking client.
“I’m not sure I’m in the right place…” he said, looking around the very nondescript reception area.
“Thomas Evans? Right?” I replied.
His eyes opened a little wider and then he nodded his head, “Then you’re in the right place. Come on, let me show you around a bit.” I said with a warm smile, then gestured to the door to the right of the desk and we walked into the main office area.
The reception and main office were separated by a double door system, the inner door not opening until the outer one was closed. When we were through both of them a mid-sized office area presented itself.

I motioned to the large glass wall to the right of us and smiled, “This is our sales department.” I said with a flourish of my hand.
Thomas’ eyes went wide and then a smile crossed his lips.
“As you can see, Jane is hard at work pitching to clients our product. She’s one of the highest earing sales agents in the industry and we’re lucky to have her.”
Thomas chuckled a little, “I bet you have her several times a day…” he said under his breath and a wide smile.
“Sorry, what was that?” I asked, knowing full well what he’d said.
“Oh, ah, just saying that I guess I am in the right place.”
“Most certainly, I’ve been expecting you. Now then…” I said and started walking down the side of the office area. Just after the marketing department Casey popped out of one of the offices.

“Oh, Casey, perfect timing!” I said and she looked up at me, then to Thomas, then her eyes went right to his crotch.
“It is? Ah… sure…” Casey replied, clearly distracted.
“This is Casey, our head of accounting. I’m sure you’ll be in… contact… with her several times before we’re done our business. Casey, this is Thomas, a new client.”
Casey bit her lower lip and blushed a little, “Hello Thomas, a pleasure to meet you.” she said, pushing her chest out a little as she extended her hand.
Thomas took her hand and shook it softly, “The pleasure is all mine Casey.” her returned.
“God I hope so…” Casey said under her breath, then blushed even harder before turning and leaving, “Sorry… I’ve got to… got to go.” she called over her shoulder as she rushed towards the bathrooms.
“Sorry about that Thomas. Casey has a… condition. Sometimes it sneaks up on her and she had to take care of it right away.”
Thomas chuckled and nodded, “No problem.”
“Anyway, let’s continue, the break room is just over here.” I said and guided him to the other side of the office.

“Sandy, are you on break again?” I asked credulously while rolling my eyes.
“Oh, hi Boss, yeah… kinda, I mean the process is mid-way through, so not much for me to do at the moment.” she replied and then noticed Thomas.
“Oh! Hello Sir, welcome to Standford Industries!” she said cheerfully to Thomas, pushing her tits out and giving them a jiggle.
“Thank you Sandy, I’m glad to be here.” he replied.
Sandy bit her lower lip and clasped her hands behind her back as she swayed in place, “So… would you like to play with me a bit?” she asked, her eyes darting over to he billiards table, but the question obviously having nothing to do with the balls on the green felt.
“Maybe later Sandy, I’ve still got to show him the back.” I said.
“Well, yeah, I guess that’s important.” Sandy replied with a little pout but then her face brightened up, “But you’re gonna love the back.” she enthused.
“Then I’m sure I will.” he replied and I guided him to the back of the office and opened the door in the middle of the wall.
Behind it was a small hallway, with two doors on the opposite side, one to the left, and one to the right. I motioned to the one of the left and Thomas walked towards it, then opened it.
We stepped inside to a array of computers and monitors, with the wall on the right being made of glass.

“As you can see Thomas, we’re a fully automated facility. Our current subject is about half way through the process and is being kept on edge 24 hours a day. The last time she had rem sleep was…” I said, looking over at one of the monitors, “93 hours ago, give or take.”
“So she has another 90 hours to go?” Thomas asked.
“Pretty much, most don’t take that long, she’s well into her fourth day, most break by the sixth. A few get to the seventh, but nobody makes it to the eighth. Once they break, it only takes another 12 hours or so for the final programming to take hold.”
Thomas nodded with a serious look on his face.
“Of course there’s a bit of extra time for recovery… usually a day or two is enough to get them back into shape.”
Thomas frowned a little, “I’m not sure I can afford to have her gone for that long. I mean, a week no problem, but that’s almost two in the worst case.”
“Is she that time sensitive?”
“Yes, she has quite a few public commitments. Disappearing for a week I can explain away as a vacation, two… no one would beleive.”
I nodded and put a serious look on my face, “Well… we do have a more… rapid process. But there are some downsides to it.”
Thomas raised an eyebrow, “Oh, like what?”
“Memory gaps, possible unexpected small personality changes, and possible obsessive behaviour.”
“How bad?”
“Well the last time we used it the subject lost three years of university memories, went from loving icecream to hating it, and a strange obsession with collecting legos.” I replied with a shrug.
“How fast is it?”
“Three days tops, I’ve never seen anyone last more than 50 hours honestly. Even the recovery is faster as there’s not as much sleep depravation. We could get her back to you in 4 days, 5 tops.”
Thomas smiled and nodded, “Those don’t sound like anything I can’t deal with. I just need her to sign the paperwork and sell the company. After that she can disappear from the public eye altogether.”
I nodded and gestured to the door, “Then let’s get the paperwork started. I’m sure Jane get get the paperwork started and you can drop over to Casey’s office to get the financials going.”
Thomas walked out in front of me and headed to the other door, “Do you think we could do that in a little while?”
I chuckled and smiled, “I take it you’d like to play a game or two with Sandy first?”
Thomas stopped and turned around, “Well… I do enjoy a good game of billiards…” he said a little sheepishly.
I smiled and shrug my shoulders, “I can’t blame you. Just be warned, Sandy likes to cheat by distracting you… I’d suggest letting her win. She’s a very appreciative winner.” I said with a wink and then we both chuckled a little before heading back out to the office space.
