Tags – The Hands That Lead

I’ve been using tags poorly in the past and I’m working on correcting this in the future. As such I’ve actually been using categories as tags and I’ve decided to start using both categories and tags in the future.

All of the old “tags” from my blog are in the category list below. These are still being used and are what appear on the front page of the site in the highlighted box just above the title of the post. These will reamin as a single “tag” and will represent the most significant overall description of the post.

The new “proper” tags will be added to new stories going forward and I’ll slowly work my way backwards if I get around to it (currently I’ve updated tags back to April 2014). These new tags will be more descriptive of the post content.

Each entry is in the format of “TAGNAME [POSTCOUNT]: DESCRIPTION“

Categories

Note, these categories fall in to two main types; a specific series of posts, and general categorizations of the type of content in the post. Over the next while I’ll be expanding the descriptions of the series to be more useful.
