Sometimes you get lucky even if you don’t realize it.
When I’d hypnotized my girlfriend to get a little more head from her, I’d never dreamed I’d find out that she was actually a superhero.
I’d been ecstatic, a real superhero!
Then she’d told me she was Cover Girl, a C list hero who’s primary power was to create costumes for herself, along with some slight stat buffs.
My heart fell that she was such a lame hero.
But, as I said, sometimes you get lucky even when you don’t realize it.
It turns out that there are a lot of fun things you can do with that power and an active imagination.
It’s been three years since I’d found out, and I now keep an ongoing gallery of my favorite “adventures” together.
Nobody seems to miss Cover Girl, there wasn’t even a newspaper article on her “retirement”, but I make sure she has all the adventure she can handle.
