The cold war bimbo programs produced many excellent products, but to do so required many specialized devices.
This photo from the archives of the Russian program is one of the few that recorded some of the miriade of equipment needed to ensure each cold war bimbo was up to specification.
Seen here, just after completing it’s testing phase, this bimbo was photographed in front of several devices that even to this day have not been identified.
Though agreement has been reached as to the large floor mounted device just behind her; it’s collection of leavers, knobs and tanks ensure that this unit had the perfect dimensions before being sent out on it’s mission.
