You know, things had gotten so much better around the office since I’d installed the subliminal training program on all of the office computers. Of course just installing the software hadn’t been enough, if nobody used it, well, it wouldn’t do anything.
Fortunately the new CEO, Claire, that had just come in had been all about diversity, and insisted on a raft of new mandatory training… which worked out well for me. I’d though it was going to take months… maybe even years to get the entire staff trained up!
Instead, it was just a few shorts weeks before every single person in the office was well and fully trained.
I mean, just look at Janice and Carrie here… the had been fighting with each other tooth and nail for the same promotion that they both wanted.
Now? Well, they’re still competing for it, and in face Carrie’s presentation here on how to perform client satisfaction survey on Janice seems to be convincing Janice that she might indeed be the better candidate for the promotion.
However I’m still interested in seeing Janice’s presentation this afternoon on how to handle a difficult client… I’m sure I saw handcuffs and several gags in Janice’s office earlier when I walked by.
Of course, neither of them are getting the promotion, in fact both are being demoted to “Customer Service Representatives” and their current management positions will be given to some of their male staff in the coming weeks.
Tomorrow is the big presentation of the week though, Claire will be presenting on why she should have the position as my secretary now that she’s turned in her resignation and the board has promoted me to the CEO role.
I caught a glimpse of Clair practicing her presentation on one of the interns and I have to say I was impressed how far down, and for how long, she managed to get. I’m sure she’ll do well and secure her new position in the company. With the new direction I’m taking the company, she’ll be integral in securing new clients, just as Janice and Carrie will be in retaining them.
