A hands on kind of leader...

Friday June 05, 2026

“Ladies, ladies, if I can have your attention over here…” I said as Grace, Maria, Jennifer, and Candice stood in front of the backdrop.

“Ah.. ok.” Grace replied hesitantly.

“Whatever…” Maria snarked.

“Of course.” Jennifer replied matter of factly.

giggle Like, sure! giggle” Candice enthused.

Maria had lead the hostile takeover of my company three months ago, managing to take enough control to insert her hand picked cronies in to key areas.

Grace as VP of Marketing, Jennifer as head of HR, and Candice as VP of Sales.

None of them really understood what my company did, just that it was some hot tech company that was financially exposed and they could take advantage of.

And that was my fault. I’d spent decades carefully building the company up a little bit at a time, until I’d finally felt comfortable taking a big swing at something truly revolutionary.

That risk had required significant outside investors and I’d overextended just a little, giving Grace her opportunity. She’d swept in and made deals that gave her a lot of power on the board, even if she couldn’t actually get rid of me, she could still cause trouble, and hence her cronies.

I’d spent the last few months dodging landmines, defusing tense situations, and avoiding catastrophic problems with them.

Fortunately my big swing had finally paid off two weeks ago and the prototype had been completed. Grace had been my first test subject, the fiery redhead had become a docile accomplis after just the first ten minutes of our meeting.

The device was a marvel of engineering, it first scrambled brain patterns, causing absolute chaos in the subjects mind, then, as the brain worked to re-establish order, it gently pushed those patterns in to more… desirable end states.

It was going to revolutionize rehabilitation of drug addicts and criminals.

First thought, it was saving my company for the vultures.

After Grace, I’d recruited Jennifer, making the buy the rules executive follow a new set of rules… to the letter.

Then it had been Candice’s turn, the personable blonde had always had an easy going personality which leant itself to sales, but the device had gone a little overboard and made her into a complete bimbo.

I still had to have the boys in R&D review the data and see if there was a problem, but that could wait.

The three of them then lured Maria into the office on some pretense, to which she barged into my office and demanded my resignation.

By the time she left, she no longer cared about my company or just about anything else.

“Alright lades, this is Jim, he’s going to be leading the photo shoot. Do what he says and we’ll be done in no time.” I said.

Grace smiled and gave a tiny nod, Maria rolled her eyes and let out a sigh, Jennifer gave a curt “Of course.”, and Candice just giggled and bounced up and down a couple of times as she clapped in excitement.

I then let the photographer get to work and headed to the back of the studio where the reporter was observing everything that was going on.

“So, did you get everything you needed?” I asked.

He frowned and nodded, “Sure… I guess.” he replied.

“Something the matter?”

He shook his head, “No, I mean, no but yes?”

I chuckled and nodded, “You can’t quite figure out why three VP’s and a high powered corporate raider and doing interviews for Modern Housewife and Girlfriend Magazine?”

He turned and looked at me in the eye and nodded, “They all gave great interviews, talking about how real women stayed at home and cooked and cleaned and made their husbands life’s easier… but…”

“But?”

“I can’t help but think this is some kind of weird joke. That once we publish the article that all four of them will denounce it as lies. I’m tempted to tell my editors not to publish it.”

“A fair enough concern. Perhaps you should test one of them for their commitment to the statements they gave in their interview?” I asked.

“Test? How?”

I cleared my throat and pointed over to Candice, “I was talking to Candice after your interview with her and she couldn’t stop gushing about how cute you were. I bet if you asked her for a more… private interview, she’d be eager to show you how committed she is to her life choices.”

The reporter raised an eyebrow and stood up straighter, “Do you… do you know how much I had to cut out of her interview because of how, ah, sexual it was?”

I shrugged my shoulders, “Well I trust your discretion on such things, but I’m sure she didn’t tell you even half of her… proclivities.

The man seemed to think deeply on it for a moment, then nodded, “I guess it couldn’t hurt to do a little more.. research.”

I smiled and nodded, “I’m sure you’ll be very through. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to it.” I said and then walked away towards the photographer and the ladies.

About ten minutes later, when the photographer was doing individual shots with Grace, I caught a glace of the reporter and Candice chatting and a I smiled.

By this time next month all four would be disgraced in the face of their family, friends, and most importantly business connections. None of them would darken my doorstep in the future and the other members of the board would think twice about listening to outsiders again.

I walked over to Maria and slipped in beside her, my hand starting at her lower back but moving down to her ass after a moment. I took a handful and gave it a good squeeze.

“Ugh… you’d better be fucking it if you’re going to grab it.” she said in an unconcerned tone.

“Of course I will be, I follow through.” I said and gave her ass another squeeze, “Have you reached out to any doctors yet?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes, “Of course I have, I’m not an idiot. I can make an appointment, I have two consultation next week. I’m sure one of them will be able to get the job done.”

I nodded in appreciation, I was quite eager to see how much silicone they could stuff in her chest on the first go. I was looking forward to when she could start working at my house as my new live in maid.

Grace was going to my new VP of Marketing, a promotion from within the R&D group.

Jennifer, well, I hadn’t decided on where she was going to end up. She was actually a good HR person and I was tempted to keep her there now that she was loyal to me.

Candice… well Candice was going to the owner of one of our biggest clients. He’d made several passes at her over these last few months, and Candice had filled several complaints against him for them. Those of course had been retracted now and I was sure he’d accept her as a peace offering.

Grace finished up and walked over to where we were standing, Maria taking her place. The photo shoot lasted an hour or so more and Grace, Maria and Jennifer all left with me. Candice left with the reporter and I was sure the article would be published on the front page of the next issue.
