Rick shook his head, “No, sorry, doesn’t work that way. I’ve got to spend time with them and be the focus. Five days a week is more than enough time at the gym for me.”

Jason nodded and sighed, “I guess…” he replied and then opened his desk drawer and pulled out a white envelope stuffed full of cash, “Here, this is for the last two weeks, along with a little bonous.”

Rick nodded, then took the envelope and turned to leave, pausing just before he exited the door and then looked back at Jason, “By the way, any chance I could get a more comfortable couch for my studio? That one has seen better days…” he said motioning over his shoulder with his hand and thumb extended.

“Absolutely! Just let me know if there is anything else you need… it’s a small price to pay for saving my gym and making it more successful than I could have ever dreamed.”

“Thanks.” Rick replied and then he headed out.

He was more than satisfied with the current arrangement and he didn’t see that changing any time soon.
