Of course one of the largest problems with the cold war bimbo programs was, as they referred to it, leakage.

This was the phenomenon of the units produced never making into the field for active duty, but instead being “leaked” out to the high ranking members of the military which had commissioned the programs.

These “leaked” units were often found in the homes, offices, or private flats of these high ranking members and caused the programs to be far less efficient, and by extension, successful for their associated countries.

The unit depicted here was recovered by a specialized “plug” team in the home office of a five star general. While the eventual fate of the unit is unclear, some details of the generals fate have been found in the media of the time, with references to “battlefield accidents”.
