You know, sometimes the universe just needs to slap you down when you get too cocky… the other day, when I posted my note about being at 2994 followers I had been gaining about 10 new followers a day for several weeks and felt confident that I’d pass the 3000 mark later that same day.
And then suddenly I didn’t get any new followers and in fact lost a few… sigh.
Anyway, Tumblr does that once in a while, but things picked back up later in the day and I passed 3000!
