Welcome to my yearly post to summarize my writing stats (as of December 27th, 2023), set out a goal for next year, and other things. In this post are:
New Blog Features
I added a few new blog features this year, including:
- A random posts page.
- Tag list on the archives/front page for each post.
- Top 20 Posts by Likes page.
Published word count for stories
First up is an updated chart for sites that I published on other than my blog itself:

Getting my stats from my blog is a bit harder, and includes some things like news items, but excludes things like FWBP, so probably a wash over all.

Blog statistics
My blog traffic has been increasing over time, if my stats plugin is to be believed this is what the year has looked liked:

Pageviews have been steady at 2000/day for the year, though there were a couple of dips, but nothing major.

Subscriber growth is slow but steady on the various sites, and I’m back on Tumblr, but it’s going to take a long time to get back to my 5k followers there 😉:

DeviantArt is being sneaky and while it “shows” a round number, the actual number is in a tooltip if you hover over it, so I can get exact numbers again from them.
Growth on most platforms is a little slower at the end of the year, but continues to go up.

Page rankings very seldom change, with the obvious ones near the top. I’m a little suprised the Bimbo or Billionaire made it back into the top ten, I really must geta round to writing another on of those 😉.

Summary and Next years goals
A few other things to note:
- I’m going to leave my writing goal the same as last year, 50k words, hopefully this year will be more productive.
- I’ve have FWBP post up until August next year already scheduled for each Sunday, I’m now over three hundred entries in the series!
- Monday’s are going to continue to be Sexbot posts.
- I’m well in to May with daily posts.

Some with plugins for my wordpress site (wordcount for posts, likes, visits, top 10 posts/pages), some by hand (other site stats, story word counts, etc.).
Unfortunatly bdsmlr, tumblr, etc don’t have any real statistics code for the users. BDSMLR doesn’t even let you export your posts so that you could process them some other way.

It is on my list of things to write, I have two other stories to do before I get to it, so maybe in the next couple of months I’ll get to it. Winter is usually a more productive time for my writing.
